Jessica Dorrance assists the center's work in asset building, financial services, and financial education for low- and moderate-income populations, and manages an evaluation of $aveNYC, a matched savings program for low-income tax filers in New York City.  Recent projects have included strategies to reduce the racial wealth gap in North Carolina and opportunities for increasing financial literacy for students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities, management of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) procedures for multiple CCC projects.

Jessica also serves as a center representative on the N.C. Assets Alliance, a coalition of organizations committed to educating the public and policy makers about asset-based strategies that promote economic security and prosperity for all North Carolinians. She is also part of the Alliance executive steering committee.
