Jasperlynn Kao is a graduate student in the department of biostatistics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Gillings School of Global Public Health.  Her current research interests include statistical demography, analysis of clinical trials, and the application of statistical methods to health and medicine. 

Her work at the center focuses on the data management and analysis of research relating to the social outcomes affected by homeownership. Her main duties involve statistical programming and analysis of various demographical data. She is also helping the center with the process of retrieving and organizing data from the 2010 Census.
